However, as the popularity of Instagram grows, so does the demand for third-party apps and websites that enhance the user experience. One such platform is Picuki Instagram. In this article, we will explore what Picuki is and how it can enhance your Instagram experience.

**What is Picuki Instagram?**

Picuki Instagram is a third-party website and app that allows users to explore, view, and analyze Instagram profiles without having an Instagram account. It acts as an Instagram viewer, enabling non-Instagram users to access public profiles, photos, videos, and stories.

**Viewing Instagram Profiles**

With Picuki, you can easily search for and view Instagram profiles. By simply typing in the username of the desired profile, you can gain access to all the public content associated with it. This feature is particularly useful for those who want to explore an individual’s Instagram presence without having to create an Instagram account themselves.

**Browsing Photos and Videos**

One of the main attractions of Instagram is the abundance of captivating visuals shared by users. Picuki allows you to browse through these photos and videos seamlessly, even without an Instagram account. You can explore the feeds of different users, scroll through their posts, and admire the creativity and diversity that Instagram has to offer.

**Exploring Stories**

Instagram Stories have become a popular way for users to share their daily moments, with content that disappears after 24 hours. Picuki lets you view Instagram Stories from public profiles, allowing you to catch up on the latest updates and behind-the-scenes glimpses shared by users.

**Analyzing User Statistics**

Picuki also provides analytical insights into Instagram profiles. By entering a username, you can access various statistics and metrics related to that user’s Instagram account. These include the number of followers, following, posts, and engagement rate. Such data can be valuable for businesses and influencers looking to analyze their own or their competitors’ performance on Instagram.

**Discovering Popular Hashtags**

Hashtags play a crucial role in categorizing and discovering content on Instagram. Picuki Instagram provides a feature that allows users to explore popular hashtags and discover related posts. This can be a useful tool for content creators, marketers, and anyone looking for inspiration or to stay updated with trending topics.

**Saving and Sharing Content**

Picuki Instagram makes it easy to save and share content found on the platform. Whether it’s a captivating photo, an inspiring quote, or an informative video, you can bookmark them for later reference or share them with your friends and followers through various social media platforms.

**Privacy and Security Considerations**

While Picuki Instagram offers convenient features for non-Instagram users, it’s important to note that it operates by scraping public Instagram data. This means that the information you can access on Picuki is limited to what users have made publicly available on their Instagram profiles. It does not provide access to private accounts or content. It’s crucial to respect the privacy settings and permissions set by Instagram users.

Picuki Instagram serves as an excellent platform for those who want to explore Instagram content without creating an Instagram account. It allows users to view profiles, browse photos and videos, access stories, analyze statistics, discover popular hashtags, and save or share interesting content. However, it’s important to use Picuki responsibly and respect the privacy of Instagram users. Whether you’re a casual viewer, a marketer, or an influencer, Picuki Instagram can enhance your Instagram experience and provide valuable insights into the world of visual storytelling.

Instagram history

Kevin Systrom, a 27-year-old Stanford graduate in 2009, works at NextStop, a travel recommendations startup. Systrom previously worked as a corporate development associate at Google ( GOOG ) and interned at Audio, which would later become Twitter (now X Corp).

Although Systrom had no formal training in computer science, he learned to code nights and weekends while working at NextStop. Eventually he prototyped a web app called Burbn with his love for fine whiskeys and bourbons. The Burbn app allowed users to log in, post plans and share photos. At the time, location-based tracking apps were popular, but Burbn’s photo-sharing feature was unique.

Venture capital financing

A turning point came in March 2010, when Systrom attended a Silicon Valley launch party for Hanch. Yesterday, Systrom met with two venture capitalists from Baseline Ventures and Andreessen Horowitz. After showing them a prototype of his app, they decided to meet for coffee to discuss further. After their first meeting, Systrom decided to quit his job and focus on bourbon. Within two weeks, he secured $500,000 in seed funding from Baseline Ventures and Andreessen Horowitz to further develop his entrepreneurial venture.

This seed funding allowed Systrom to build a team of people to support his venture. He was first approached by 25-year-old Mike Krieger. Krieger, a Stanford graduate, previously worked as an engineer and user experience designer at social media platform Meebo. They have known each other since they were students at Stanford.

To the photo sharing app

When Krieger joined, the two reassessed Bourbon and decided to focus on one thing: mobile photography in particular. They studied in detail the most popular apps in the photography category at the time. The Hipstamatic app for Krieger and Systrom has popular and interesting features that you can apply to your photos like filters. However, it lacks social media sharing capabilities; Systrom and Krieger saw the potential to bridge Hipstamatic and create a social media platform similar to Facebook.

They took a step back and reduced Bourbon to its photo, comment and “like” functions. It was then that they combined the words Instant and Telegram and renamed their app to Instagram. They started focusing on improving the photo sharing experience. Their intention for the app was to be minimalistic and require as few actions as possible from the user. After eight weeks of fine-tuning the app, they beta-tested it and invited their friends to rate its performance. After fixing some bugs in the software, it was delivered for launch.

Launch the iOS app

The Instagram app was launched on October 6, 2010 and gained 25,000 users in one day.

By the end of the first week, Instagram had 100,000 downloads, and by mid-December, the number of users had reached one million.

The release of the app was fortunate because the iPhone 4, which had a better camera, was released a few months earlier in June 2010.

As Instagram’s user base grew rapidly, more investors became interested in the company. In February 2011, Instagram raised $7 million in Series A funding. One of their investors is Benchmark Capital, which values the company at around $25 million. In addition to institutional investors, the company has attracted the attention of prominent companies in the field of social media technology, including Twitter and Facebook

Although this new round of financing allowed Systrom and Krieger to hire more people, the founders decided to keep the company really small, with just a dozen employees.

Systrom has known Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey since interning at Audio. Dorsey expressed great interest in the company and approached the idea of buying Instagram. Twitter offered about $500 million in stock, but Systrom rejected the offer.

Facebook bought Instagram

As of March 2012, the app’s user base has grown to approximately 27 million users.  In April 2012, Instagram was released for Android phones and was downloaded over a million times in a day.At the time, the company was also close to raising a new round of funding at a $500 million valuation.
